When have you felt scared of someone you didn’t know? How did you overcome this fear?

the most I have ever felt fear of someone was ar a local gas station or my job lol but basically I was working behind the register and this couple comes in and looks pretty sus but I don't think much of it so I greet them and scan all their items and right as I bag their stuff, the wife literally takes the bag, swings it around, and knocks me out and then they run off with their stuff. So I was left there unconscious for about a hour before the next customer came and called the police. I haven't nessecarily gotten over that fear yet but I do have a glock now.
