So um.. This happened... We were about to rent a house. Everything was nice, so my mom pulled out a letter and she said "My daughter has a emotional support animal. Is our cat aloud to be in here to?" The landowner was a old man like 85 or something and he was making a fuss about it and we all got annoyed. He took our money because we "lied" to him about a cat. He wouldn't believe that its a law for all landowners to accept service or emotional support animals. What happens if a landowner says no to a emotional support animal will he get fined... Or what..? We don't even get the house now and we are all mad and upset my mom literally started crying because we don't know were to live now.
