It is really worth all the effort to get a college degree? From a philosophical point of view, the love of learning is sufficient reason to get a college degree. However, the U. S.Census Bureau also makes another relevant point. Annually, college graduates ( bachelor's) earn on average $17,583 more than high school graduates. This means college graduates eacrn about 77% more than high school graduates and according to " Education Pays" the gap in earning is increasing. But the raising cost of a college education has increased 85% over the last 10 years making college unattainable for many. While you may start college those who graduate is declining based on several factors such as social-economics, peer pressure and mental stress. Does a college degree guarantee someone 77% increase in earning over a high school degree? Explain some of the complications and variables the effect this report.
