The equation d = 1/5 where d represents the distance in miles and t is the number of seconds between seeing lightening and hearing thunder, tells hc far away a thunderstorm is. How far is it to a thunderstorm if you count 15 seconds between seeing the lightening and hearing the thunder??? please help !
