We want to study the effect of oral contraceptive (OC) on systolic blood pressure (SBP). We recruit a group of ten non-pregnant, premenopausal women in the 16-49 year-old age range who are not OC users, and measure their SBP to be 115.6 mmHg with standard deviation 10.31 mmHg. We recruit a group of ten non-pregnant, premenopausal women in the 16-49 year-old age range who are OC users, and measure their SBP to be 120.4 mmHg with standard deviation 13.22 mmHg.
