The groups of participants all stay for a week and as many variables are kept consistent between the groups as possible except the amount of exercise (diet, sleep, etc.). Group ‘A’ is asked to stay inside and minimize physical activity during the study. Group ‘B’ is asked to walk or run a minimum of 5 miles each day and perform a minimum of 2 hours of additional aerobic exercise each day. Their results are compared each day to see how they change.
