I dont get this I need help to find the 2x + 4 = -6x - 12

1. Bring the variables to one side. But remember the sign of the number would change if the number is brought on the other side of the equal sign.

2x + 6x = -12 - 4

2. Now that you have the equation nice and organized add the variables add the constants (regular numbers) together!
