4.01 Discussion: Right Triangle Trigonometry Right triangles are all around us.
1. Describe a real-world scenario that uses a right triangle. Sketch your
triangle and label everything (right angle, opposite angle, adjacent angle,
and hypotenuse).
2. List at least two assumptions you could make in solving real-world, right
triangle problems (for example, the shadow is on the ground, a wall is
perpendicular to the floor, etc.), and explain how the assumptions can help
to solve problems.
