That the burglaries increased by 10% b) Why is that thinking incorrect? Because it was not taking into account that it deceased in that period. c) By what percent has the number of burglaries actually changed over the two-year period? 75 percent 30/40=.75= 75 percent d) By what percent would the crime have to decrease in the second year in order for the changeover the two-year period to actually be a 10% increase? 10/100 is .10 so it would have to change over 100 percent
