1.5 hours of total driving time. Sheila is willing to spend $80 for the night for babysitting.

A. Write an equation to determine for how many hours Sheila can afford to hire the babysitter.

B. Use the guess-and-check method to determine how many hours of babysitting Sheila can
afford.

C. Sheila finds another babysitter that lives much closer to her and would only need 1 hour of
driving time. However, she charges $15 per hour. Write an equation to determine how many hours
of babysitting Sheila could buy from her.

D. Can Sheila afford the same amount of babysitting from the second sitter as she could from the
first sitter?
