PLEASE HELP NOW Barbara and Jayden decide to race through their town. When they mapped the race they noted that the streets in their town formed a trapezoid and that Main Street and Perry Road are the exact same distance. They use the provided map to decide their course. Barbara and Jayden run different routes through town.

Barbara’s Route: Starts at point D, runs down Johnson Boulevard, turns right onto Perry Road, turns right onto Peach Street and follows Peach back to the starting point.

Jayden’s Route: Starts at point D, runs down Johnson Boulevard, turns right onto River Drive, turns right onto Main Street and follows Main Street back to the starting point.
Barbara beats Jayden back to their starting point. Jayden claims he came in second because his run was longer than Barbara’s. Barbara claims she is faster than him, because they ran the same distance and she finished first. Who do you agree with and why?
