Add all the diffrences in high temperature: 0 + 1 + (-2) + 0 + (-5) + 0 = (-6). Then divide the answer, negative six, by the number of days, six: (-6) ÷ 6 = (-1). This shows that the mean change in forecasted high temperature is (-1).

2.   What is the mean change in the forecasted low temperatures over the next 7 days? Remember, this can be found by averaging the values in the Difference column for the low temperatures. If your answer is not an integer, explain what two integers your answer is between.

Add all the diffrences in low temperature: (-1) + 1 + 0 + 0 + (-7) + (-2) = (-9). Then divide the answer, negative nine, by the number of days, six: (-9) ÷ 6 = (-1.5). Because this answer is not an interger, we will represent the mean by the two interegers it is between. The mean change in forecasted low temperature is between (-2) and (-1).
