Whenever you are solving for x, your main goal is to always make x by itself through a process of unwinding. Here, x is almost by itself, you just need to get rid of 4/3 first. In most cases what you would want to do is multiply 4/3 by its recipical (flipped version) which is 3/4 and they cancel each other out (because 4/3 * 3/4 = 1). What you do on one side however you do to the other so you would also have to multiply 28/3 by 3/4 to get the anwser. However this method is for people who have gotten the hang of this. A simplier way to do this is to look at it piece by piece. For a moment, take out x and just look at 4/3. Outside of being a fraction, in words it is saying 4 divided by 3. In order to get rid of the 3 we would have to do the opposide of division which is multiplication and multiply 3 on both sides which, lucky for us, cancels out the threes on both sides. All thats left is 4x= 28. Again just look at 4x which actaully says 4 times x. To get rid of the 4 we divide 4 on both sides (because remember what you do to one side you do to the other) and voila, x is by itself and 28/4 = 7 so x=7
