21 x 1  = 21

Then... Divide the number of players with this figure

230/11 = 20.9 is the average age of the players

b) We know the average will now be 22 and we know the number of players is now 12.

So... 22 x 12 = 264 (This will be the new total age of all the players)

We know the previous total was 230

So.. 264-230 = 34 (years old)
