We do the same thing, we multiply 6 by each thing in the parenthesis which gives us 6b - 6*3 = 6b - 18. Then we get 6b -18 = 6. Then since we have -18 we can move it to the other side and make it positive. So then we get 6b = 6+18 = 24. So now we have 6b = 24. Then we divide both sides by 6 seen as we have 6b. So 24/6 = 4. Therefore b  is 4. Im can solve more questions like these but this is your third in a row and we have explained how to do this. It would make me happy if you tried solving this as your own.
