Without using 10, show (prove)that for any whole number n and any positive number y, (y^-1)^n=y^-n

Havent done this in a while but you can multiply the exponents -1 and n to give you -n so at the end it would be y^-n=y^-n so any numbers you put as y or n will always be a solution. Hope this helps.
