use vertical motion model: h=-16t^2+vt +5 where
• t is the time(in seconds) the object has been in the air
•v is the initial vertical velocity ( in feet second)
• s is the intial height (in feet)
a) write the equation that models the height of a grasshopper that jumps straight up from the ground with an initial vertical velocity of 12 feet per second
b) after how many seconds is the grasshopper 2 feet the ground?
