Suppose that you have an interview appointment with Google. However, Google is interviewing too many candidates so that they cannot schedule a xed time with you. Suppose that they promise to call you between 1 pm to 3 pm and you may assume that the call is uniformly distributed in the time interval. (a) What is the probability that the call arrives between 2 - 2:20 pm? (b) At 2:30, the call has not arrived. What is the probability that it arrive in the next 10 minutes? (c) Suppose that you are told that the interview will last exactly 1 hour and ignore the assumption in (b). From 3 - 3:30 pm, there is an online quiz of ECI 114 that does not accept any late submission as usual. Let M be the amount of time of the quiz that you miss because of the interview. Compute the EM.
