40s + 20j = 300

The number of bottles of soda bought would be represented with s.

The number of bottles of juice bought would be represented with j.

The total number of bottles that were purchased is 11. This means that the sum of bottles of juice and the bottles of soda bought would be equal to 11. This can be represented with this equation:

The total grams of sugar that was bought is 300 grams. This total amount bought would be a function of the number of bottles bought and the grams the bottles can contain. This can be represented with this equation:
