Pizza Casbah is lonown for their large pizzas. The diameter of the pizza is 18 inches. Pizza Casbah recently
began a MEGA-PIZZA challenge where two people must complete a 30-inch pizza to get their name on the
wall of fame.
1. Greg can eat an entire large (18-inch) pizza by himself and believes that it his partner can eat the
same amount, they should be able to eat a 36-inch pizza. Explain why you agree or disagree.
2. Greg knows the maximum he can eat is the amount of pizza in an 18-inch pizza. How many square
inches of pizza will his partner need to eat in order for them to win the challenge?
