Area of a triangle is 1/2 b h. set the area equal to the equation. 160 = 1/2 b h. we know the height is the base + 4, so we can set (bh) to look like (x+4)(x) so far we have 160=1/2(x+4)(x) now we distribute 160=(1/2)(x^2+4x) 160=1/2x^2+2x solve for x by setting it equal to 0 1/2x^+2x-160=0 use the some sort of formula to solve, idk how to solve it from here i’m in the car. no scratch paper. but here is a start
