Juan has taken four skill checks for the third grading period and earned a 60, a 75, an 85 and a 95. If the Unit Test counts as TWO skill check grades, what is the range of scores that Juan can earn on the Unit Exam so that he will earn a B? (Between 79 and 90) Write the inequality that can be used to solve for the range of values Juan must earn on his unit exam to meet his goal?
Please note that I am using the < and > symbol, because he wants to earn a B which is BETWEEN 79 and 90 and does NOT include them.
I also completed the first step of multiplying all parts of the inequality by the denominator (6) to "elliminate" it from my average formula.
