For the first question you would do 38,880 - 36,000= 2880

then you would do 2880/36,000= 0.08
multiply it by 100 and you get 8%

for the second question you would do 36,000 x 10( the percentage )= 360,000

then you do 360,000/100 and it equals 3,600 which is 10% of 36,000 then do 36,000-3,600 and you get 32,400
