The formula for volume of any prism is the surface area of one end x the depth of the prism. In this case that means we need to find the area of the triangle on the end and multiply it by the the depth. The formula for area of a triangle is 1/2 x b x h, and because this is a right angle triangle we know that the perpendicular height is just the length of one of the sides, so we simply substitute in the given values to get the equation 1/2 x 6 x 6 = 18cm^2. Now we just have to multiply this by the depth, which we are told is 8cm, so we do 18 x 8 = volume of this prism. Hope this helped :))
