1.there are different types of proofs: two-column, paragraph and flow chart.  which of these type of proofs do you prefer? why?
2.a. choose one of the following theorems and prove it: vertical angles are congruent, alternate interior angles are congruent,  corresponding angles are congruent. demonstrate on a whiteboard.
2.b. choose one of the following triangle theorems and prove it:   triangle sum, isosceles triangle theorem, converse of the isosceles triangle sum theorem.
3.parallelograms have several properties other than both pair of opposites sides are parallel. describe the various properties and provide a proof for one of these.
4.   understanding proofs can be challenging for many students.  what advice would you give to a student struggling with these concepts?
you may never be asked to do a “formal proof” outside of studying geometry again, but proofs involve a type of reasoning called deductive reasoning.  deductive reasoning is often used in our everyday lives. describe some real-world scenarios in which this reasoning is applied.
