Keep in mind that this flip only gets rid of the negative power that encompasses the expression. Any negatives that are still inside the expression remain the same.

Step 3: If you have an entire expression that's being raised to a power then multiplication is your friend. The key here is that "A power to a power means multiply whereas a power times a power is addition". This is a rule that is often misused at least in my experience.
