Addition +  you add the numbers together by combining them. Any odd number plus odd number is even. Any even number plus even is even and any odd plus even is odd
Subtraction - You delete numbers by numbers on top. But, when there's a smaller number minus a bigger number it doesn't work so you'd have to change it.
