The number is 9,18,27,36,45 what is the question?

   I'd guess it's  "find the next number in the sequence"  (which is 54)

Discussion:

9 * 1 = 9

9 * 2 = 18

9 * 3 = 27

9 * 4 = 36

9 * 5 = 45

9 * 6 = 54
