Arandom sample of 400 town voters was asked if they plan to vote for candidate a or candidate b for mayor. the results were sorted by gender and are shown in the table below. plan to vote for candidate a female: 202 male: 34 plan to vote for candidate b female: 20 male: 144 the town has a total of 6000 voters. based on the table, what is the best estimate of the number of voters who plan to vote for candidate a? wouldnt the answer be 4% because the total about of candidate a voters is 236 and by dividing 236 from the total amount of voters, 6000, you get 0.039( which when multiplied by 100 is 3.93, which is about 4%.
