How do i dobthis , dont just tell me the answer .i want to understand it .

If you dont understand how to do this i suggest you make yourself a table for all the x

It says to make a graph with values of x from - 2 up to 2

So you have to calculate for x - 2, -1, 0, 1 and 2

Now you have to use the formula Y=2x+5

Value of X / Value of Y
-2 Y=2*(-2)+5=-4+5=1
-1 Y=2*(-1)+5=-2+5=3
0 Y=5
1 Y=7
2 Y=9

You search tha value of - 2 on the horizontal line where x value is and now the value of 1 on the vertical one (y) where those 2 cross the first point on the graph is

The second is x=-1 and y=3 and go further on the table end it with x=2 and y=9
