What is the outlier in this set: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 1000 (i know the outlier is 1000) what is the best measure of center and spread in this case? (i'm thinking that the best measure of center is the median, but i don't understand the 'spread' part and how to find it.)
