5. ¿Cuándo hablamos de una república popular o socialista?

Al hablar de una república popular o socialista nos referimos a naciones con gobiernos organizados en torno a un sistema económico y político comunista, es decir, en los cuales se ejerce un control férreo y absoluto de la economía por parte del gobierno y donde se restringen libertades individuales de los ciudadanos con el objetivo de mantener dicho control absoluto sin dar lugar a ningún tipo de alteración del orden pretendido, como podrían ser manifestaciones por parte de la ciudadanía. Un claro ejemplo de este tipo de republicas es Corea del Norte.
