Using the information you have assembled plus your own creativity and interests in learning more about police operations,
design a full-color brochure that:
• establishes the duration of the academy and the number of participants that will be enrolled;
• describes all of the courses that participants will take and what they can expect to have learned at the completion
of the course; and
• explains some of the activities that citizens will observe that may include K-9 training, firearms safety, defensive
driving, and first-aid and rescue techniques, among others.
Write a letter to prospective candidates explaining why they should consider enrolling in your academy and the benefits it
will provide to both the community and the police department
Develop an application form that identifies the requirements for admission to the academy.
Create a five-minute oral presentation or PowerPoint presentation that can be used at community meetings to advertise
your academy
