Which party’s domestic policy appealed more to chinese peasants?

The Chinese Communist Party was able to gain the support of the peasants through their offer of a revolutionary land reform. The peasants who paid taxes and provided food, labor and military services would be rewarded with land and other forms of riches seized from the elite of the nation.
