Why were us businesses upset by spanish reactions to the cuban revolution during the late 1800s? us businesses were afraid they would lose money that they had invested. us businesses thought that prices for goods in cuba would go down. us businesses did not want spain to become stronger economically. us businesses were afraid that cuba would stop trading with them.
