Why is it necessary for the government to force people to pay taxes?

Pay taxes is fundamental for the maintenance and stability of a country, state, etc.

The modern taxes are an evolved way of the archaic ¨tribute¨, where the common citizen pays a determined fee as a tribute to the local monarchy, to be covered, protected and basically be identified as one more of the kingdom.

those resources were and are used for different purposes, all related to the economic welfare of the territory , the same happens today, the money the people pay for taxes, works to maintain all the public spending (police department, hospitals, etc) and other government investments (industries, economical or infrastructure projects, etc).

And they retribute us with protection, and other assistance required by the regular citizen.
