Industrial toxic spills harm the environment in many ways, for example, when there's any oil or chemical spill in coastal waters it may result in the destruction of wildife habitat and ultimately killing and harming a lot of species, also industrial toxic spills can end up in our food chain because if the contamination spreads enough to reach any marine animal humans consume daily it can affect our health, a very good example of this is the presence of mercury in tuna experienced in some countries. Another huge harm toxic spills cause is the uninhabitability of some areas regarding flora and fauna due to the chemical spill spreading to soft, vulnerable soil causing severe and in most cases hardly reversible.
