How did various visions of a "reconstructed" south differ? how did these visions reflect the old political and social divisions that had led to the civil war?

-White variety of visions of reconstructed south
-President Lincolns plan involved showing mercy to south 
-Lincoln envisioned a peacful and easygoing reconstruction

-Radical republicans in congress envisioned a forceful reconstruction in which they wouldn't led former confederate leaders/officers hold office, and they would force them to be more like union. 

-Johnson didn't even seem to have a vision. He though he could cheer confederate buddies to office and all would go well, this is oblivisouly not true...

-Lincoln wanted to protect African Americans , while radical republicans also did, Johnson didn't 

-These visions reflected old political parties and social divisions in many ways. Radical Republicans wanted south to be more like union, which is what caused the war in a sense. Lincoln desire to stop slavery was the evident and the same before and after the war. Many things such as black codes, enforcement acts, and even the tenure office act resulted from these visions. the south got even more violent towards blacks
