One who in in favor of greater taxation on the wealthy

If this is world history and it talking about the social status in England the middle class and 3rd class want greater taxation on the wealthy because the government would take the poor population  more than the wealthy and it was seen as unfair because the wealthy population actually had money that they could give but the middle and 3rd class lived in poverty
