one could argue that the internment of japanese american citizens was justified because of the fear that arose in america after the attack on pearl harbor by the japanese empire. roosevelt's goal in passing this law was to ensure that no spies would gain critical information about the us military to send back to japan. he felt that this was an issue of national security, which triumphs the rights of the individual during a time of war.

not justified

one could argue that the internment of japanese american citizens was a clear violation of individual liberties. thousands of citizens were forced to leave their homes and possessions behind even though they were not convicted of any crime. along with this, many of them were unfairly stereotyped as being possible spies even though many of them were born and raised in the united state.

anyone who decides to disrespect or start absurd rumors without supporting evidence about congress or president will be charged/serve time and or fined @ jayxboof
