The executive branch is one of the three branches of the u. s. government; this branch mainly interprets the federal laws and upholds or negates them.

 

The federal government or the U.S. government has three main branches namely, Executive branch, Legislative branch, and the Judicial branch. The Executive branch is composed of the President and about 5,000, 000 workers. The Legislative branch constitutes the Senate and House of Representatives while the Supreme Court and lower courts comprise the Judicial branch.  Each branch has its function. The Executive branch enforces the laws that the Congress (Legislative Branch) makes. The Legislative part of the U.S. government is also known as the Congress. This branch makes the laws. It is divided into two parts: the Senate which is composed of 100 senators; and, the House of Representatives. On the other hand, the Judicial part interprets the laws according to the constitution. They are special judges. The Judicial branch includes the Supreme Court and the 9 justices.
