What was a reason for the growth of buddhism during the six dynasties period?

Disintegration of the society and constant foreign invasion  and alien was the royal authority  throughout the North results to many fundamental changes occurred in China during this period. The Confucian system that had ordered society break down, and the growing influence of Daoism and the importation of Buddhism worked shows  changes everywhere. Buddhism has became a famous  religion and was  embraced by the northern invaders.
