Does anyone know about indentured soldiers? i would just like to know about what they went through and the kind of live they lives. particularly why they chose this. if you answer type more than 2 sentences.

Indentured soldiers were soldiers that had an indenture which was a legal contract within the soldier and the man he worked/served under.The contract (indenture) was written twice on one piece of paper; the soldier got one piece and the captain got the other. These indentures described pay, and other things like equipment and rules. The soldier would usually have to share these things with his captain and king. hope this helps x
