Sikh philosophy is tied with its religion. Sikh philosophy means religion in action and is called Gurmat. It is the thought, view, belief, doctrine and religion of the Gurus. The religious philosophy of Sikhism is apparent in Gurbani and is propounded through Gurbani Shabads of love and devotion. Guru Nanak's philosophy starts with inquiry of Ik (One God) who is all Pervading, the Eternal, the Creator, the Cause of causes, without enmity, without jealousy and who can be attained with His Grace.
