I feel sorry seeing children exploited in the workplace , maybe they get forced to work for such a low wage. Instead of attending school they would be working because of famine and poverty or family issues.

disease was the number one killer of native peoples. they had had little exposure to the diseases of europe. this led to some villages being almost completely wiped out and some tribes destroyed.
