Archaeology is more than just studying monumental architecture. It is also about understanding past cultures and societies. Through the works of pioneers in the development of archaeology, we were able to understand human culture better. One of the prime notions of modern archaeology is that in many ways, the past is similar to the present. Do you think this is true?
