How did the Industrial Revolution affect towns and cities?​

Cities and towns grew during the Industrial Revolution because laborers left farms to cluster in dense areas around the factories that offered better-paid employment. Industrialism raised the standard of living across the board, leading cities and towns to expand to accommodate wealthier populations.

So basically, industrialization historically led to urbanization by producing economic growth and job opportunities that will draw people to these cities. The concept of Urbanization basically begins when a factory and or multiple factories are being established in a region (this creates a high demand for factory labor)
