The Versailles Palace was made out of mainly Parisian limestone. Which has been holding together for quite some time. Next Saint Leu stone it is soft when extracted, but hardens on drying and wearing. Following with marble, the king’s favorite. This stone was used throughout the whole palace mainly on the inside while rock, brick and stone was used to build the structure. and some memes for pride ;)
