The Bessemer Process is an invention thag contributed to economic growth and prosperity. The Bessemer Process is a process that allowed Steel Manufacturers to make Steel quickly and cheaply. This allowed Steel to be used in more machinery and everyday life. For instance, before the Bessemer Process railroad tracks used to be made with Iron, and had to switched out every so often. After the Bessemer Process, they were made with Steel, and were thus si much more durable anf long-lasting.
