What historical event would you like to make a film about? Why? How can history be used in the film.​

    The Great Depression was the deepest and longest lasting economic downturn in the history of the Western industrialized world. In the United States, the Great Depression began soon after the stock market crash of October 1929, which sent Wall Street into a panic and wiped-out millions of investors. Over the next several years, consumer spending and investment dropped, causing steep declines in industrial output and rising levels of unemployment as failing companies laid off workers. The movie the Cinderella Man that started Russell Crowe depicted what it was to live during the Great Depression. This movie is historically accurate it shows how the Great Depression made a major impact on people's lives, it showed how work was scarce and lastly how James J. Braddock encountered many people in his boxing career and the author of the script does a good job illustrating every one of them that had an impact on Braddock’s life.
